Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Mahāniddesa · Vol. 29 · Section 576

[576] **"For that view of his is thus fulfilled" (diṭṭhī hi sā tassa tathā samattā):** that view (diṭṭhi) of his is thus fulfilled — undertaken (samādinnā), grasped (gahitā), misapprehended (parāmaṭṭhā), adhered to (abhiniviṭṭhā), held to (ajjhositā), resolved upon (adhimuttā); thus, "for that view of his is thus fulfilled." Therefore the Blessed One said: Having overstepped, he is fulfilled in his view; intoxicated with conceit, deeming himself perfect, he has anointed himself in his own mind; for that view of his is thus fulfilled.
