[578] **If indeed one is inferior because of another's word** — if, because of another's word, because of speech — that is, on account of being blamed, on account of being censured, on account of being reproached — another person becomes a fool, inferior, low, mean, vile, base, insignificant; therefore, "if indeed one is inferior because of another's word."
