[651] **"If one were inferior because of another's disparagement"** means: if, by reason of another's disparaging, by reason of another's blaming, by reason of another's censuring, by reason of another's reproaching, that other person were a fool—inferior, lowly, deficient, vile, insignificant, limited—hence, "if one were inferior because of another's disparagement."
