Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Mahāniddesa · Vol. 29 · Section 592

[592] "Or, speaking firmly about one's own way (sakāyane vāpi daḷhaṃ vadāno)": a doctrine (dhamma) is one's own way (sakāyana); a view (diṭṭhi) is one's own way; a mode of practice (paṭipadā) is one's own way; a path is one's own way. He is one who speaks firmly, speaks steadfastly, speaks forcefully, speaks with settled assertion about his own way — thus, "or, speaking firmly about one's own way."
