[599] **"A person creates no strife (medhaga) in the world"**: one does not make quarrels (kalaha), does not make contention (bhaṇḍana), does not make wrangling (viggaha), does not make dispute (vivāda), does not make strife. For this was said by the Blessed One: "A bhikkhu whose mind (citta) is liberated thus, Aggivessana, sides with no one and disputes with no one; and whatever is spoken in the world, by that he expresses himself, without grasping at it."
**"A person (jantu)"**: a being (satta), a man (nara), a youth (mānava), a male person (posa), an individual (puggala), a living being (jīva), one who is born (jātu), a creature (jantu), one who fares by kamma (indagū), a human (manuja).
**"In the world"**: in the world of the states of loss (apāyaloka), in the world of humans, in the world of devas, in the world of the aggregates (khandhaloka), in the world of the elements (dhātu), in the world of the sense bases (āyatana). Hence: "A person creates no strife in the world."
Therefore the Blessed One said:
Standing upon judgments, having measured by himself,
he goes on to further dispute in the world;
but having abandoned all judgments,
a person creates no strife in the world.
The Twelfth, the Exposition of the Cūḷaviyūha Sutta (Cūḷaviyūhasuttaniddesa), is finished.
