[598] **Having abandoned all determinations (vinicchaya):** the sixty-two speculative views (diṭṭhigata) are called determinations. Having abandoned, given up, relinquished, forsaken, let go of, dispelled, eliminated, and brought to non-existence all determined views (diṭṭhi) — thus, "having abandoned all determinations."
