[618] **"We would train just here — then purity for him":** *Here* means: in one's own view (diṭṭhi), in one's own acceptance (khanti), in one's own preference (ruci), in one's own creed (laddhi), *we would train* — we would practice, we would conduct ourselves, we would undertake and carry on; thus, "we would train just here." **"Then purity for him"** means: or then, for him, purity, higher purity, complete purity; release, deliverance, complete release; thus, "we would train just here — then purity for him." #1 M. reads *baladevavataṃ*. 2 M., Yu. read *disāvattaṃ*. 3 Po., M. read *ādiyitvā*.
