[626] **Having abandoned even all virtue and observances (sīlabbataṃ vāpi pahāya sabbaṃ):** having abandoned, given up, dispelled, eliminated, and brought to non-existence all purities through virtue (sīlasuddhi); having abandoned, given up, dispelled, eliminated, and brought to non-existence all purities through observances (vatasuddhi); having abandoned, given up, dispelled, eliminated, and brought to non-existence all purities through virtue and observances (sīlabbatasuddhi) — therefore it is said: "having abandoned even all virtue and observances."
