[653] **For the many speak of the dhamma of another as inferior (puthū hi aññassa vadanti dhammaṃ nihīnato)**: Many people speak of, disparage, blame, and censure the dhamma of many people, as inferior, base, low, vile, paltry, and petty. Many people also speak of, disparage, blame, and censure the dhamma of a single person, as inferior, base, low, vile, paltry, and petty. A single person also speaks of, disparages, blames, and censures the dhamma of many people, as inferior, base, low, vile, paltry, and petty.
