[739] **"And one should not yearn for existence"** means: one should not yearn (na jappeyya) for sense-sphere existence (kāmabhava), one should not yearn for form existence (rūpabhava), one should not yearn for formless existence (arūpabhava); one should not yearn after (na pajappeyya), one should not yearn intensely (nābhijappeyya). Therefore it is said, **"and one should not yearn for existence."**
