[845] **"He indeed is called 'one at peace'"** means: he is called, stated, spoken of, explained, and designated as one at peace, calmed, fully stilled, quenched, tranquilized (paṭippassaddha) — therefore "he indeed is called 'one at peace.'" Hence the Blessed One said:
> Not deviating from truth, the sage (muni),
> a brahmin, stands on the dry land;
> having relinquished all,
> he indeed is called "one at peace."
