[859] **You will wander at peace (upasanto carissasi)**: because of the pacification of lust (rāga) one is peaceful; because of the pacification of hatred one is peaceful; … because of the pacification, stilling, allaying, burning out, quenching, disappearance, and tranquilizing of all unwholesome volitional formations (akusalābhisaṅkhārā), being peaceful, at peace, fully calmed, quenched, and tranquilized, you will wander, dwell, comport yourself, proceed, protect, sustain, and maintain yourself — thus, "you will wander at peace." Therefore the Blessed One said:
That which lies before — dry it up;
let there be nothing (kiñcana) for you afterwards;
if you will not grasp at what is in the middle,
you will wander at peace.
