[92] **Put in front, they exist, uncleansed (purakkhatā santi avīvadātā)**: "Putting in front (purekkhāra)" — there are two kinds of putting in front: putting in front through craving (taṇhā) and putting in front through view (diṭṭhi) … This is putting in front through craving … This is putting in front through view. For that person, putting in front through craving is unabandoned, and putting in front through view is unrelinquished. Because his putting in front through craving is unabandoned, and because his putting in front through view is unrelinquished, he goes about having placed craving or view in front: he has craving as his banner, craving as his standard, craving as his dominant influence; he has view as his banner, view as his standard, view as his dominant influence; he goes about surrounded by craving or by view — therefore, "put in front."
"They exist": they exist, they are found, they are obtained.
"Uncleansed": uncleansed, not bright, impure, defiled, defiling — therefore, "put in front, they exist, uncleansed."
