[954] **One should overcome discontent in a remote lodging.** — **Discontent (arati):** whatever discontent there is — discontentedness, non-delight, non-enjoyment, dissatisfied longing, dread. **In a remote lodging:** one should overcome — should master, overwhelm, exhaust, crush — discontent with remote lodgings (senāsana), or with any of the various higher wholesome states; therefore it is said, "One should overcome discontent in a remote lodging."
