[115] **"Whatever"** (yā pana): whoever, of whatever sort … **"Bhikkhunī"**: … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this meaning.
**"Having had one thing procured in exchange"** (aññaṃ cetāpetvā): having had something or other procured in exchange.
**"Should have another thing procured in exchange"** (aññaṃ cetāpeyya): setting that [first thing] aside, she has another thing procured in exchange—in the effort there is an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); with the obtaining, it becomes subject to forfeiture (nissaggiya). It must be forfeited to a Saṅgha, to a group, or to a single bhikkhunī.
"And thus, bhikkhus, it should be forfeited: … 'Venerable ladies, this other thing of mine—having had one thing procured in exchange, [this] other was had procured—is to be forfeited; I forfeit it to the Saṅgha.' … 'should give' … 'they should give' … 'I give [this] to the venerable lady.'"
