[224] A bathing cloth (udakasāṭikā) means that wearing which she bathes.
"Having it made" means: whether making it herself or having it made by another, it must be made to the proper measure. Herein this is the measure: in length, four spans of the Sugata span; across, two spans. If she makes it or has it made exceeding that, in the act of making there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); upon obtaining it, having cut it down, the offense of Pācittiya is to be confessed.
