[256] When [the withdrawal] is legitimate (dhammika), perceiving it as legitimate, she obstructs it: an offence (āpatti) of pācittiya. When it is legitimate, being in doubt, she obstructs it: an offence of dukkaṭa. When it is legitimate, perceiving it as illegitimate, she obstructs it: no offence. When it is illegitimate, perceiving it as legitimate: an offence of dukkaṭa. When it is illegitimate, being in doubt: an offence of dukkaṭa. When it is illegitimate, perceiving it as illegitimate: no offence.
