[268] There is no offense (anāpatti): if, not desiring to cause discomfort, having asked leave, she walks up and down in front, or stands, or sits, or lies down; if she recites, or has another recite, or does her recitation; if she is insane; if she is the first offender (ādikammikā).
[Editorial note in the Pali source: In the Ma. (Burmese) and Yu. (European) editions, at this point these readings appear: "If she deliberately causes discomfort to one not fully ordained, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."]
