[337] There is no offence (anāpatti) for one who speaks aiming at the meaning (atthapurekkhārā), aiming at the Dhamma (dhammapurekkhārā), or aiming at instruction (anusāsanīpurekkhārā); for one who is insane (ummattikā); or for the first offender (ādikammikā). ________ The third training rule of the Ārāma Chapter (Ārāmavaggassa tatiyasikkhāpadaṃ).
