[356] "**Whatever**" means: whoever, of whatever sort … "**Bhikkhunī**" means: … ¹ this is the bhikkhunī intended here in this sense.
"**Exhortation (ovāda)**" means: the eight weighty rules (garudhammā).
"**Communion (saṃvāsa)**" means: a single formal act (kamma), a single recitation (uddesa), the state of having the same training.
At the mere laying down of the responsibility, [thinking,] "I will not go for the exhortation or for communion," there is an offense of pācittiya.
