[450] Now at that time a certain bhikkhunī (bhikkhunī) was sick and was not able to go on foot. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, I allow a vehicle for a sick bhikkhunī. And thus, bhikkhus, let the bhikkhunīs recite this training rule (sikkhāpada): 'Whatever bhikkhunī, not being sick, should travel by vehicle, there is an offense of pācittiya.'"
