[504] Venerable ladies, the introduction (nidāna) has been recited. The eight rules entailing defeat (pārājika) have been recited. The seventeen rules entailing formal meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa) have been recited. The thirty rules entailing expiation with forfeiture (nissaggiya pācittiya) have been recited. The one hundred and sixty-six rules entailing expiation (pācittiya) have been recited. The eight rules to be acknowledged (pāṭidesanīya) have been recited. The rules of training (sekhiya) have been recited. The seven principles for the settlement of legal issues (adhikaraṇasamatha) have been recited. This much [of the teaching] of that Blessed One has come down in the sutta, is included in the sutta, and comes up for recitation every half-month.
