[59] When one party is filled with lust (avassuta), if she urges [a bhikkhunī], saying, "Chew or eat food to be chewed or food to be eaten from the hand of a yakkha, or a peta, or a paṇḍaka, or an animal in human form" — there is an offense of wrong conduct (dukkaṭa). If, at her word, [the other] accepts it, thinking, "I shall chew, I shall eat" — there is an offense of wrong conduct. For every mouthful swallowed, there is an offense of wrong conduct. At the completion of the meal, there is a grave offense (thullaccaya).
If she urges [her] to accept water and tooth-wood — there is an offense of wrong conduct. If, at her word, [the other] accepts it, thinking, "I shall chew, I shall eat" — there is an offense of wrong conduct.
