[116] (Thus said the venerable Puṇṇaka:) To the unperturbed one (aneja), the seer of the root, I have come with need of a question: Depending on what have seers, humans, khattiyas, and brahmins, many here in the world, performed sacrifice (yañña) to the deities? I ask you, Blessed One; tell me that.
