[118] **"We have come with need of a question" (atthi pañhena āgamaṃ)** means: we have come having need of a question; we have come wishing to ask a question; we have come wishing to hear a question — thus, in this way too, "we have come with need of a question."
Or else: for those who have need of a question, who wish to ask a question, who wish to hear a question, there is a coming, an advancing, an approaching, a sitting near in attendance — thus, in this way too, "we have come with need of a question."
Or else: you possess the mastery of questions (pañhāgama); you too are able, capable, and fit to speak upon, to answer, to point out, and to declare what is asked by me — thus, in this way too, "we have come with need of a question."
