[119] **Dependent on what are seers and humans (kiṃnissitā isayo manujā)** — "Dependent on what" (kiṃnissitā) means: dependent on, resting upon, clinging to, drawn near to, cleaving to, resolved upon what. "Seers" (isayo): those bearing the name of seer — whoever have gone forth into the seer's going forth (isipabbajjā): Ājīvakas, Nigaṇṭhas, jaṭilas (matted-hair ascetics), and tāpasas (austerity practitioners). "Humans" (manujā): human beings are so called. Hence, "dependent on what are seers and humans."
