[135] **They yearn for sensual pleasures dependent on gain** (kāmābhijappanti paṭicca lābhaṃ): dependent on the acquisition (paṭilābha) of form, they yearn for sensual pleasures; dependent on the acquisition of sound, they yearn for sensual pleasures … dependent on the acquisition of individual existence (attabhāva) among the devas belonging to the retinue of Brahmā (brahmakāyikā devā), they yearn for, crave for, and hanker after sensual pleasures. Therefore it is said: "they yearn for sensual pleasures dependent on gain."
