[139] **"With sacrifices... and birth and aging, dear sir" (yaññehi jātiñca jarañca mārisa):** with many sacrifices (yañña), with various sacrifices, with numerous sacrifices. **"Dear sir" (mārisa):** this is a term of affection, a term of respect; this word "mārisa" is a designation accompanied by reverence and deference. Hence: "with sacrifices... and birth and aging, dear sir."
