[169] **"Having understood which, one wanders mindful (yaṃ viditvā sato caraṃ)"** means: having made it known, having weighed it, having judged it, having made it clear, having made it evident — having made it known, weighed it, judged it, made it clear, made it evident that "all conditioned things (saṅkhārā) are impermanent" … "whatever is of the nature to originate, all that is of the nature to cease."
**"Mindful (sato)"**: one is mindful for four reasons: developing the establishment of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna) of contemplating the body in the body, one is mindful … he is called mindful.
**"Wandering (caraṃ)"**: wandering, roaming about, moving in the postures (iriyāpatha), proceeding, guarding, maintaining, sustaining oneself — hence, "having understood which, one wanders mindful."
