[263] **If he should remain there unwavering** (tiṭṭhe ce so tattha anānuyāyī): **If he should remain** (tiṭṭhe ce so) means: if he should remain for sixty thousand aeons (kappa).
**There** (tattha) means: in the Sphere of Nothingness (ākiñcaññāyatana).
**Unwavering** (anānuyāyī) means: not being led astray, not trembling, not departing, not vanishing, not falling away; or else, not becoming impassioned, not becoming hateful, not becoming deluded, not becoming defiled. Hence, "if he should remain there unwavering."
