[272] **Has he gone out, or does he not exist** (atthaṅgato so udavā so natthi): has he gone out, or does he not exist — that is, is he ceased (niruddho), annihilated (ucchinno), perished (vinaṭṭho)? Hence, "has he gone out, or does he not exist."
