[275] **For thus this Dhamma is known to you** — thus this Dhamma is known to you: it is known, understood, weighed, scrutinized, made clear, and made evident; thus this Dhamma is known to you. Therefore, so is it said: "For thus this Dhamma is known to you."
Hence that brahmin said:
"Has he who has gone out ceased to be, or does he not exist,
or is he, in eternity, free from affliction?
O Sage (muni), explain that to me well,
for thus this Dhamma is known to you."
