[301] **"They speak of purity even by virtuous conduct and observances" (sīlabbatenāpi vadanti suddhiṃ):** by virtuous conduct (sīla) too they speak of, tell of, declare, explain, and express purity (suddhi), purification (visuddhi), complete purity (parisuddhi), freedom (mutti), deliverance (vimutti), and complete deliverance (parimutti); by observances (vata) too they speak of, tell of, declare, explain, and express purity, purification, complete purity, freedom, deliverance, and complete deliverance; by virtuous conduct and observances too they speak of, tell of, declare, explain, and express purity, purification, complete purity, freedom, deliverance, and complete deliverance.
