[348] **"For whom craving (taṇhā) does not exist"** means: for whom craving is not, does not exist, is not found, is not apprehended; it has been abandoned, stilled, fully calmed, rendered incapable of arising again, burned by the fire of knowledge (ñāṇa) — therefore, "for whom craving does not exist."
