[410] **"For one devoid of hankering for name-and-form in every way, brahmin"** (sabbaso nāmarūpasmiṃ vītagedhassa brāhmaṇa): **"In every way"** (sabbaso): all of all, in every way all, without remainder, with nothing left over — this word "sabbaso" is an expression of total comprehension.
**"Name"** (nāma): the four immaterial aggregates (khandhā). **"Form"** (rūpa): the four great elements (mahābhūta) and the form derived from the four great elements.
**"Hankering"** (gedha) is a term for craving (taṇhā) — that which is lust (rāga), infatuation … covetousness, greed, the unwholesome root.
**"For one devoid of hankering for name-and-form in every way, brahmin"**: for one who, with regard to name-and-form in every way, is devoid of hankering, rid of hankering, who has given up hankering, disgorged hankering, released hankering, abandoned hankering, relinquished hankering; who is devoid of lust, rid of lust, who has given up lust, disgorged lust, released lust, abandoned lust, relinquished lust — therefore, "for one devoid of hankering for name-and-form in every way, brahmin."
