[542] **"These dhammas lead to the far shore (pāragamanīyā ime dhammā)"** means: these dhammas (dhammā) lead to the far shore — they bring one to the far shore, they bring one right to the far shore, they bring one all the way to the far shore; they conduce to the crossing over of aging and death (jāti jarā maraṇa — here, jarāmaraṇa). Therefore, "these dhammas lead to the far shore."
