[541] "He would indeed go beyond aging and death (jarāmaraṇa)": the far shore of aging and death is said to be the Deathless (amata), Nibbāna — that which is the stilling of all formations (saṅkhāra), the relinquishment of all acquisitions (upadhi), the destruction of craving (taṇhā), dispassion (virāga), cessation, Nibbāna.
"He would indeed go beyond aging and death": he would indeed go to the far shore, he would attain the far shore, he would touch the far shore, he would realize the far shore; therefore, "he would indeed go beyond aging and death."
