[545] Ajita, Tissa Metteyya, Puṇṇaka, and then Mettagū, Dhotaka and Upasīva, Nanda, and then Hemaka, the two — Todeyya and Kappa — and Jatukaṇṇī the wise, Bhadrāvudha and Udaya, and Posāla the brahmin too, Mogharāja the intelligent, and Piṅgiya the great seer (isi) — these approached the Buddha, the seer of consummate conduct; asking subtle questions, they came to the supreme Buddha.
