[613] **For which there is no simile anywhere (yassa natthi upamā kvaci):** "For which" (yassa) — for Nibbāna. "There is no simile": there is no simile, there is no comparison (upanidhā), there is no likeness, there is no counterpart; it does not exist, it is not found — thus "there is no simile." "Anywhere" (kvaci): anywhere, in anything, in any place, internally, or externally, or both internally and externally — thus "for which there is no simile anywhere." Therefore that brahmin Bāvarī said:
He who taught you the Dhamma —
to be seen for oneself (sandiṭṭhika), not delayed (akālika),
the destruction of craving (taṇhā), free from adversity (anītika) —
for which there is no simile anywhere.
