[616] **Even for a moment, brahmin (muhuttamapi brāhmaṇa):** *even for a moment* means even for a moment (muhutta), even for an instant (khaṇa), even for a brief interval (laya), even for a year (vassa), even for a portion of time (attha) — thus, "even for a moment." **Brahmin:** he addresses his uncle out of respect.
