Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Cūḷaniddesa · Vol. 30 · Section 633

[633] **"To that very quarter I am bowed" (sa tena teneva nato'ham asmi):** in whatever quarter the Buddha is, to that very quarter he is bowed — inclined toward it (tanninna), sloping toward it (tappoṇa), leaning toward it (tappabbhāra), resolved upon it (tadadhimutta), having it as his dominant influence (tadādhipateyya). Hence, "to that very quarter I am bowed." Therefore the Elder Piṅgiya said: Faith (saddhā), rapture, mind (mano), and mindfulness — these do not bend away from the teaching of Gotama; to whatever quarter the one of vast wisdom goes, to that very quarter I am bowed.
