[702] **If one should find a prudent companion (sace labhetha nipakaṃ sahāyaṃ):** if one should gain, should obtain, should attain, should find a companion who is prudent (nipaka), a wise person (paṇḍita), possessed of wisdom (paññavā), possessed of intelligence, endowed with knowledge (ñāṇa), discerning, sagacious — therefore, "if one should find a prudent companion."
