[703] **One who wanders together, dwelling well, a wise one (saddhiṃcaraṃ sādhuvihāri dhīraṃ):** *wandering together* means wandering in company with him.
*Dwelling well (sādhuvihāriṃ):* dwelling well by the first jhāna, by the second jhāna, by the third jhāna, and by the fourth jhāna; dwelling well by the liberation of mind (cetovimutti) through loving-kindness, and by the liberation of mind through compassion, through altruistic joy, and through equanimity; dwelling well by the attainment (samāpatti) of the sphere of infinity of space, by the attainment of the sphere of infinity of consciousness, by the attainment of the sphere of nothingness, and by the attainment of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception; dwelling well by the attainment of cessation (nirodhasamāpatti); dwelling well by the attainment of fruition (phalasamāpatti).
*A wise one (dhīraṃ):* one who is wise, learned, possessed of wisdom, intelligent, possessed of knowledge (ñāṇa), discerning, sagacious. Hence: "one who wanders together, dwelling well, a wise one."
