[704] **Having overcome all perils (parissaya):** Perils — there are two kinds of perils: evident perils and hidden perils. … These are called evident perils. … These are called hidden perils. **Having overcome all perils:** having overcome, having vanquished, having overwhelmed, and having utterly exhausted all perils — thus, "having overcome all perils."
