[708] **Walking together, dwelling well, the wise one** (saddhiṃcaraṃ sādhuvihāri dhīraṃ): **Walking together** (saddhiṃcaraṃ) means walking as one, in company. **Dwelling well** (sādhuvihāriṃ): dwelling well by means of the first jhāna … dwelling well also by means of the attainment of cessation (nirodhasamāpatti), dwelling well also by means of the attainment of fruition (phalasamāpatti). **The wise one** (dhīraṃ): one who is wise (dhīra), learned, possessed of wisdom, intelligent, endowed with knowledge (ñāṇa), discerning, sagacious. Therefore it is said: "walking together, dwelling well, the wise one."
