[76] **"Whatever streams there are in the world"** — those streams which have been declared by me [1], told, taught, made known, established, disclosed, analyzed, made plain, and proclaimed, namely: the stream of craving (taṇhā), the stream of views (diṭṭhi), the stream of defilements (kilesa), the stream of misconduct (duccarita), the stream of ignorance (avijjā). **"In the world"** — in the world of the states of woe (apāya), the world of humans, the world of devas, the world of the aggregates (khandha), the world of the elements (dhātu), the world of the sense bases (āyatana): hence, "whatever streams there are in the world." **"Ajita"** — the Blessed One addresses that brahmin by name.
