[798] **Comprehending the danger in existences:** comprehending the danger (ādīnava) in existences thus: 'All conditioned things (saṅkhārā) are impermanent'; comprehending the danger in existences thus: 'All conditioned things are suffering (dukkha)'; 'All dhammas are not-self' … 'Whatever is of a nature to originate, all that is of a nature to cease' — thus, **comprehending the danger in existences.** One should wander alone like a rhinoceros horn. Therefore that Paccekasambuddha said:
Not neglecting seclusion (paṭisallāna) and meditation (jhāna),
constantly practicing in accordance with the Dhamma among dhammas,
comprehending the danger in existences,
one should wander alone like a rhinoceros horn.
