[814] **Having abandoned lust and hatred, delusion** (rāgañca dosañca pahāya mohaṃ) — **Lust** (rāga): whatever lust, infatuation … covetousness (abhijjhā), greed (lobha), the unwholesome root — this is "lust." **Hatred** (dosa): whatever hostility of mind (citta) … ferocity, irritation to the point of tears (assuropa), displeasure of the mind — this is "hatred." **Delusion** (moha): non-knowledge regarding suffering (dukkha) … ignorance (avijjā) as the crossbar, delusion, the unwholesome root — this is "delusion."
**Having abandoned lust and hatred, delusion**: that Paccekasambuddha, having abandoned, relinquished, dispelled, put an end to, and brought to non-existence lust and hatred and delusion — therefore, "having abandoned lust and hatred, delusion."
