[816] *Not trembling at the dissolution of life (asantasaṃ jīvitasaṅkhayamhi):* that Paccekasambuddha (paccekasambuddho), at the ending of life, is not terrified, not utterly terrified, not alarmed, not agitated, not apprehensive, without dread, fearless, undaunted, unalarmed, not one to flee; he has abandoned fear and dread and is free from horripilation — hence, "not trembling at the dissolution of life. One should wander alone, like a rhinoceros horn (khaggavisāṇakappo)." Therefore that Paccekasambuddha said:
Having abandoned lust (rāga) and hatred, and delusion,
having shattered the fetters,
not trembling at the dissolution of life,
one should wander alone, like a rhinoceros horn.
