[93] "Being asked, O prudent one, tell me, dear sir, their manner of movement" (tesaṃ me nipako iriyaṃ puṭṭho pabrūhi mārisa): You too are prudent (nipaka), a wise man, possessed of wisdom, intelligent, endowed with knowledge (ñāṇa), discerning, sagacious — [tell] the movement, the conduct, the behavior, the proper conduct, the resort, the dwelling, the mode of practice of those who have fathomed the Dhamma (saṅkhātadhamma) and of the trainees (sekkha). "Asked" (puṭṭho): asked, questioned, begged, requested, graciously entreated. "Tell" (pabrūhi): speak, point out, teach, make known, establish, disclose, analyze, make plain, explain. "Dear sir" (mārisa): this word "mārisa" is a term of affection, a term of respect, a term imbued with reverence and deference — being asked, O prudent one, tell me, dear sir, the manner of movement of those. Therefore that brahmin said:
"Those who have fathomed the Dhamma,
and the many trainees here —
being asked, O prudent one,
tell me their manner of movement, dear sir."
